Choosing Wall Art for Your Room
Measure the available wall area and compare the artwork's exact height and width, including any frame. Think about viewing distance, nearby furniture and how its colours work with the room. Glass and heavier framed art need suitable wall fixings, while illuminated designs also need their specified power source.
Frequently Asked Questions
What types of wall art does Hartes stock?
The current collection includes glass animal art, framed canvas pictures, hologram-style prints, illuminated canvases and decorative metal or mosaic wall pieces.
How do I choose the right wall-art size?
Measure your intended wall space, then check the product's outside frame or artwork dimensions. Leave a suitable margin around furniture, doors and neighbouring pictures.
Are all wall art pieces framed?
No. Formats vary between glass art, framed canvases, mounted ornaments and other decorative wall pieces. Check the product photographs and listed construction.
Do light-up canvases require batteries?
Power needs depend on the design. Read each specific listing for battery type or other electrical requirements before ordering.
How should I hang heavy glass wall art?
Use fixings suitable for the wall construction and the product's total weight. Follow the maker's mounting instructions, and seek professional installation where necessary.
