When we first had trees in the house for Christmas they were decorated with real candles which now would be considered dangerous especially with the advent of artificial trees, so these give the ultimate traditional visual with the safety of battery powered LED technology. Each one is independently powered and so can be clipped anywhere you want it to go. For ease when you want to turn them off, instead of having to Fiddle around or unclip each one they come with a remote control that will turn them all on or off at a touch of a button. Each candle requires 1 x AAA battery (not included).
